:: design we love :: DALY’S WOOD FINISHING

For our house designs with wood siding, we never hesitate to recommend a Daly’s product for the finishing specifications. Since the 1930s, they have been providing wood stains and sealants locally for the PNW and are a cut above the rest. Herb Paulson, featured above, joined his relatives in co-owning Daly’s Wood Finishing after he left the marines in WWII and was the president of the company for many decades. Their Ship’n Shore sealant is a favorite go-to, along with their semi-transparent catalog of stains to choose. They are still locally owned now under the parent company Farwest Paint Manufacturing and can be found in Tukwila.
