Menu furniture has long been in our rotation when collaborating with clients on their furniture needs, both in hospitality environments and for custom homes alike. Scandinavian in origin with 1978 Copenhagen roots, what started out as a small brand with a modest cache of products ended up being acquired in 2022 by Design Holding and has since expanded their market and taken advantage of a more robust e-commerce platform. Those original 1978 pieces are now the heritage collection in the Menu brand, along with their expanding furniture catalog. The Passage Stool is one of our favorite Menu products for its simplicity and utility. Limited to the Natural or Dark Lacquered Oak finishes, it’s admirable to see a company sticking with its roots and avoiding the trap of being “everything to everyone” - a motto we hope they continue to embrace in their new era!
