Michael Ferguson is a wonderful landscape artist from the Pacific Northwest and has a way of painting that balances the abstract and the realistic view together in harmony. The colors are vibrant, the textures are reminiscent of pointillistic artists and there is a subtle wash over the canvas that adds to the final tangible quality felt when looking at one of his paintings. He had an exhibit at the Fountainhead gallery in November and we can’t stop thinking about how beautiful the work is!
