Two Los Angeles born brothers co-founded Portola Paint from backgrounds in art, architecture and photography. Their father was a custom home builder and their love of age-old traditional techniques in the lime washing and roman clay paint process helped develop a unique product line of special paints. With a powerful eye for color and subtle texturing and pigmentation, the paint is still made in small batches from their LA headquarters. We love the Roman Clay line of paints, this Rustica color in the above image has our heart!
